Rose Marie Conatser, 79, went to her heavenly home late Saturday evening, July 27, 2024, at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.  She was born on, May 2, 1945, in Stearns, Kentucky the daughter of Jeff and Audrey King.

Rose graduated and later married the love of her life James Coy Conatser on August 11, 1962 in Jericho, Tennessee and he preceded her in death on November 18, 2019.  Mrs. Conatser became a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and worked for the Delaware County Nursing Home for approximately 20 years and then worked for the Liberty-Perry School System as a custodian where she retired in 2008.  Rose was a faithful member of Heritage Apostolic Tabernacle for many years where she also had taught Sunday school for a period of time.   She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.    

Survivors include her son, Bradley (Terri) Conatser; brother, Harry (Brenda) King; many grandchildren and a great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband of 57 years, James, she was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeff and daughters, Joy and Virginia

Funeral services will be held at the Heritage Apostolic Tabernacle located at 3120 S. Walnut St. Muncie, IN 47302 on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. with Bishop Michael Perdue officiating.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie.

Friends may call at the church on, August 5, 2024, from 11:30 A.M. until time of the service.   Services will conclude at the church.
