Ruth Mikel Obituary

Ruth E. Mikel ,81, passed away on Monday October 22, 2018 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. Ruth was born to George and Mary (Orler) Gettinger on June 26, 1937 in Muncie Indiana.

Ruth was a cat lover. She enjoyed watching Tony Stewart drive for NASCAR, Cincinnati Reds baseball and she adopted Tom Brady as her husband.

Ruth is survived by her children: a son: Alan Mikel (Dina), a daughter: Robin Webster, 5 grandchildren: Olivia, Jennifer, Tiffany, Kelcie, Allsten, 3 great grandchildren: Weston, Paislie and Danny, 3 brothers: Donald Gettinger, Day Gettinger and Joe Gettinger (Beverly).

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, 3 children: Deborah, Donald Jr. and Debbie Mikel, a brother Reed Gettinger, a son-in-law Allen Webster.

A funeral service for Ruth is going to be held at Parson Mortuary on Monday October 29, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Friends may call from noon until the time of service. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.parsonmortuary.com
