Sandra A. Dobbs

Sandra Ann Dobbs 1944-2024

A strong and giving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; joined her husband in heaven on April 30, 2024.

She was a resident of Parker City, up until The Woodlands for four years and four months, she was an amazing gardener, great at canning, and hardworking as a Nurse's Aid at Sylvester's. Sandra also owned Sandy’s Variety Store.

Surviving are her children; Ovel Jr. (Wife, Mabel), Thomas (Vicki), Rodney, and Sheila B. (Steven Tipton), one nephew Othel Dobbs Jr. (Debbie), one granddaughter Cassandra Brown (Husband, Josh) and an amazing great-grandchild Parker, along with several friends, nieces and nephews. 

Awaiting Sandra’s arrival are her husband Ovel Dobbs Sr. in 2005, mother and father Irene and George White, and sister Mary Ridge.

A special thank you to The Woodlands Administration and staff, along with Heartland Hospice for the speedy excellent services provided during her transition. We also thank all of her family, friends, and church members for their support throughout this time.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery.
