“The Worlds Bests Nana (and yes, we are biased)
If there were an award for “World’s Best Nana,” ours would have won it every year - no debate necessary.
As the oldest of 8 siblings, Nana learned early how to care for others. She was a devoted mom to three children and later became the kind of Nana everyone dreams of having: loving, fiercely proud, and always there. She lovingly spent the last 31 years of her life with her partner, Ralph.
Nana had a lifelong love of bingo, faithfully playing it throughout her entire adult life. It wasn’t just a game to her; it was a passion. She also adored fashion, jewelry, and “bling,” as she called it. If it sparkled, she loved it, and she wore it well. Most of all, Nana was incredibly giving and selfless. She gave her love freely, always putting others before herself and making everyone around her feel special and cared for.
She leaves behind a family who adored her and will carry her love forward always. We imagine her now, dressed in something sparkly, bingo card in hand, smiling down on us. She was our matriarch and truly one of a kind and will forever be remembered as the world’s best Nana.”
A memorial service will be held at Parson Mortuary on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.
