Sharon Kay Pierce, 77, of Lebanon, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on August 13, 2024. She was born on August 7, 1947, in Anderson, Indiana to James Snyder and Norma Snyder (Hendricks).
Sharon retired from Clover Bottom where she spent many years taking care of intellectually disabled residents. She had an extraordinarily giving and compassionate heart. She would often do without to be sure other's needs were met.
Sharon was a faithful daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandma, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed playing games, watching Hallmark movies, cooking candy, spending time with her family, and listening to gospel music.
Sharon loved the Lord and upon her arrival to her eternal home she will be welcomed by her parents: James and Norma Snyder Sisters: Karen Snyder & Denise Frazier Husband: Clyde Pierce JR. As well as many in-laws, extended family, and friends.
She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family who are left to cherish and share her precious memories which include: Son: Paul Pierce, Daughters: Tina Rayburn (Tim) and Amy Irvin (Rick) Grandchildren: Amber Moss (Brian), Deanna Jayne (Colton), Tyler Rayburn, Taylor Vermillion (Kevin), and Nick Irvin, Great grandchildren: Kaylee Moss, Gage Moss, Rosalie Vermillion, and Elizabeth Jayne Brothers: Tom Snyder (Sherry), and Larry Snyder (Shannon). As well as many extended family and friends.
A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at Parson Mortuary on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 12:00pm. There will be visitation beginning at 10:00 am until service time at 12:00 pm. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Gardens of Memory Cemetery following the service.
