It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Ann O’Bryant (Wilson), 58, of Albany, Indiana on November 5, 2024. She passed in her home following a two-year battle with cancer. She was born on August 10th, 1966, in Muncie, Indiana to James and Sharon Wilson.
Sharon was a beloved wife, mother, nana, sister, and friend. She was a beautiful soul who touched everyone she met with kindness and love.
Sharon was married for 39 years to her husband Matt O’Bryant, with whom she built a life filled with love, laughter, and memories. Together, they raised four children, who were her pride and joy and later welcomed grandchildren who lovingly called her “Nana.” She adored her grandchildren, and they adored her.
A dedicated hard worker, Sharon, found joy in her job at Walmart’s Online Grocery Pickup (OGP) department where she worked as team lead until she was no longer able. She enjoyed her job and the friendships she made with coworkers.
Family was Sharon’s greatest treasure, and she always knew how to throw a party. Whether it was a simple dinner or a holiday celebration, she knew how to make each moment special and fun. 
Outside of family, Sharon found joy in simple pleasures. She loved visiting the casino, trying her luck on scratch-off lottery tickets (which she had a knack for winning), and watching game shows.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her husband Matt O’Bryant, her children Kristi (Chris) Adams, Jessica (Jonathan) Scott, Brody (Kaitlyn) O’Bryant, her grandchildren Isabella, Scarlett, Isaac and Delilah, her siblings Bob, Jim, Sherri, and Terri, several cousins, nieces, and nephews, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her light will be deeply missed but remembered forever.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents James and Sharon Wilson, her brother Kevin Wilson, and her son Grant O’Bryant.
Services will be at Parson Mortuary, Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 4:00 PM.  Friends may call on the family from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
