Sherri Lynn (Bennett) Buchanan

Sherri Lynn (Bennett) Buchanan, 58, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 at her residence following a brief illness.  She was born on April 15, 1963, in Muncie the daughter of Gary Ralph and Judith Ellen (Wagner) Bennett.

Sherri graduated from Southside High School in 1980 and later married the love of her life, Donald Buchanan in 2004 in Muncie and he preceded her in death in 2019.    Mrs. Buchanan has worked for various places in the Muncie area most recently for DIY Corporation in the Packaging Dept.  She loved music of all types, watching movies and sitting around a big table talking with “the girls”.  She especially loved all her nieces and nephews.

Survivors include three brothers, Tony Stump (Erin), Ira Bennett and Terry Bennett, of Muncie; one sister, Jodi Parker, Muncie; two God children, Trenton and Maddy.

Besides her husband of 17 years, Donald, she is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gregory A. Bennett (Big Ben).

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at the Parson Mortuary.  Cremation is to follow.

Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. until time of service.
