Stacey Janelle Bouse, 45, of Muncie, Indiana, entered into heavenly rest on January 1, 2025, at her home in Muncie, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 2, 1979, in Beech Grove, Indiana, to Paul and Carol (Suroviak) Smith.

Stacey lived a life filled with love, dedication, and service. She was a passionate runner, completing five marathons in her lifetime. Above all, being a mother to her children was her greatest pride and joy. Stacey's commitment to her community was inspiring. She faithfully served at the local soup kitchen and YWCA, was deeply involved in fundraising efforts for the Walk to End Alzheimer's and served on the school PTO board. 

Stacey’s kindness and generosity extended far beyond her family. She was married to the love of her life, Adam Bouse, for 19 wonderful years. Together, they created a home filled with laughter, love, and a shared commitment to helping others. Stacey also loved traveling with her family, watching movies, and enjoying music with those closest to her.

Stacey is survived by her devoted husband, Adam Bouse; her children, Jack, Graham, and Cole Bouse; her brother, Jeff (Stephanie) Smith, and their children; her father, Paul (Janet) Smith; her Grandma Suroviak; and many loved ones in her extended family. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Carol, as well as her aunt and uncle, Terri Nern and Darren Suroviak.

Stacey's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her legacy of love, service, generosity, and kindness will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 9th, at Commonway Church in Muncie. Calling hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with service at 12:00 p.m.
