Stephen "Stevie" Rex Miller

Muncie- Stephen “Stevie” Rex Miller, 58, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital.  He was born on October 23, 1960 in Muncie the son of Gary Nolley and Shirley (Smith) Nolley-Norris.  

Stevie attended Muncie City Schools and later worked for Adams Roofing as a professional Roofer for approximately 20 years.  He was very talented as a drummer and had been with various bands through out the area for several years.  Mr. Miller was a member of the Roofers Union and enjoyed fishing particularly at an area known as three rocks.  Mostly, Stevie enjoyed family times with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter, Stevey Phillips, Muncie; two sons, Chad Holiday and Joshua Erwin, both of Muncie; five grandchildren, Teagan, Dakota, Aubrey, Noah and C.J.; two brothers, Mike Miller and David Nolley, both of Muncie; four sisters, Julie Schoeff, Muncie, Karen Brand, Muncie, Sheri Lamb (husband-Ron), West Chester, Ohio and Stephanie Nolley, Seattle, Washington; several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robbie Miller; two nephews Adam Brand and Robin Miller.

 Graveside service will take place on Monday, December 17, 2018, 1:00 P.M. at the Beech Grove Cemetery.
