Steven (Steve) Lee Townsend, 51 of Muncie, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on February 18,2025. He preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Townsend; his parents Robert Eugene Townsend and Thelma Jean Townsend (Green). Steve was born July 14,1972 in Muncie, Indiana. 

Steve loved being around his family and friends and having a good time. He had a passion for cooking. Steve was loved and will be missed by so many. Left behind to cherish his memory is his son Ridge Tyler Townsend (Jessica Townsend); his daughter Sierra Cheyanne Townsend (Troy Moore); his brother Jerry Townsend (Kim); his sisters Pamela Phipps (Rick); Brenda Shores; his nieces Alexis Jackson; Bailee Branham; Mercedes Shores; Brandi Phipps (Josh); his nephews Kenneth Townsend JR; Paul Shores; Nathan Shores; Josh Shores (Bri) and many cousins. 

He will dearly miss all of his grandchildren Sadie; Ford; Ellie; Westley; one on the way Xavier. He loved them more than life itself.  The family will later on have a celebration of life for Steve in the Spring / Summer time. The family will inform everybody VIA SOCIAL MEDIA on where and when it will be. They plan on having a cookout in honor of Steve in fact was his favorite thing to do. And to share stories and laughter in his memory.
