Tammy Lynn Cornett, 52, passed away at IU Ball Memorial Hospital on November 3, 2025.  She was born the daughter of David and Mary Kramer on March 30, 1973, in Muncie, Indiana. 

Following graduation from Muncie Southside High School in 1991, Tammy graduated from Ivy Tech Community College in 1995.  She married the love of her life, Mark Cornett, on June 8, 1990.  She was employed as both a CNA and an EMT in the area.  Tammy was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of five and struggled with the complications of the disease for most of her life.

Tammy loved her family and was a devoted mother to her son, Mark David Allen Cornett, who sadly passed away at the age of twenty-five.  Mark’s death was a heavy burden for Tammy to carry, and she struggled with it up until the day she left this world and was reunited with him.

Tammy is survived by her husband, Mark Cornett, a sister, Linda Kramer, and brothers-in-law Davin and Jericho Cornett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Mary, and her cherished son, Mark.

Tammy will be cremated, and there will be no services.
