Tasha Renee Newman, 45, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away on December 8, 2025, at her residence in Muncie. She was born on April 23, 1980, in Muncie to William and Robin (Fehrenbach) Cooper.

Tasha lived a life full of creativity, warmth, and joy. She loved crafting of all kinds: making T-shirts, cups, and car freshies and could often be found working on a new project. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and found happiness in baking and trying new recipes she discovered on TikTok. With her outgoing personality and zest for life, Tasha brought light and energy to every room she entered and she also brought it to the camp ground with her.

A graduate of Muncie Southside High School, she went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Grand Canyon University. Above all, Tasha loved her family deeply and devoted herself to the people she cared for most.

Tasha is survived by her daughter, Myrandah Sharp (Zane); her parents, William and Robin Cooper; her brother, Nathan Cooper (Teri); her beloved grandchildren, Nash and Zaelynn Sharp; her partner, Justin Newman; and her step-children, Addilynne, Brian, and Cameron Newman. She is also survived by several extended family members who will forever hold her in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: George and Ellen Fehrenbach, William Gibson, and Sylvester and Janet Cooper.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service. Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery.
