Terrance L. Jones (Terry) was a proud father, grandfather and great-grandfather that passed away on Tuesday May 19th, 2026 at Ball Hospital surrounded by loved ones. He was a steady, hardworking man whose kindness and quiet determination touched everyone who knew him.
Born to Rex and Frances (Fanny) Jones on October 9th, 1957, Terry built a life through hard and honest work. He spent 38 years and 11 months with Mid-West Metal Products, where he was known for his reliability, skills, patents and dedication. He created many life long friendships with his coworkers. After hours, you could find him in his garage—his favorite place.
Terry will always be remembered by his children, Amanda Gourley (Carlos) and Jennifer Jones (Will); grandchildren Jordan (Brylie), Colten (Katie), Braiden, TJ, Emsleigh, Remi, and Baylyn; and great-grandchildren Kohen and Adaline. His brother; Tim Jones (Diana), and his sisters Melanie Davis and Rexenna Rose. Terry also had a special place in his heart for all his nieces and nephews who knew him as "Uncle T".
He is preceded in death by his father, Rex Jones; mother, Frances (Fanny) Jones; brother-in-laws, Billy Davis and Bob Rose; niece Susan Davis; and great-nephew, Dwayne Davis.
Terry's legacy lives on in the family he loved, the pieces he crafted with his hands, and the values he modeled—hard work and generosity.
Calling hours will be 1-3pm, with service at 3pm at Parson Mortuary in Muncie, IN with burial to follow at Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery in Parker City, IN.
