Thomas Lee Grimm, 59, passed away on December 16, 2025, at his Muncie, Indiana, home. Thomas was born on June 13, 1966, the son of Richard L. and Phyllis (Niccum) Grimm, in Columbus, Indiana, and had a very special stepfather, Dennie Trout.
Tom graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1985. Following high school, Tom graduated from trade school. He was a machinist at Midwest Metal Production for years.
He is survived by his sister, Teresa Petty (Jay), a niece, Jaime Oswalt, a nephew, Samuel Petty, two great-nephews, Bryan and Joshua Peters, a great-niece, Gracie Oswalt, and a stepbrother, Mike Trout, Kent Stohler (Jill), Mark Koons (Tammy), his cats, Zero and Bingo, and many car show friends. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Nicholas Petty.
Tom was very involved in car shows, showing his “Goldie” Dodge Challenger. He won many awards and was proud of that.
Tom will be cremated, and a celebration of his life will be on his 60th birthday in June, to be announced later.
