Toni Marie French, 68, of Dunkirk, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2024, with her daughter (Keri) and sister (Cathy) by her side at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. Toni was born on March 20, 1956, in Torrence (Redondo Beach), California to John and Dorothy French.
She grew up in Wayne, New Jersey, and lived most of her adult years in New Jersey and Michigan. Toni was a compassionate, loving, and devoted daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was recognized for her impeccable creative writing abilities and healing humanitarian nature. She was gifted with the ability to advocate and care for those who struggled mentally and physically. Her innate ability to heal and nurture was not only felt by many people, but it was also demonstrated through her love for animals. She will be deeply mourned by the lives that she touched.
Toni was preceded in death by: John French (Father), Dorothy French (Mother), Rebecca French (Sister), Kevin French (Brother), and Jennifer French (Niece). Toni leaves behind: Keri Jeanne French (only child). Brothers (John French, Danny French, Jeffrey French), Sister (Cathy French), Nieces (Michielle French, Emily Perez-Hernandez, Natasha Lautzenheiser, Sarah Hurley, and Jessica Glessner), Nephews (Elliot Perez and Jon French), great nieces and nephews.
“Celebration of life” ceremony will be held on May 11, 2024, at Fish Hatchery Park, Hastings, Michigan from 12:00pm-4:00pm.
Cremation arrangements have been made by Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center.
