Muncie-Tonya Bright

   Born September 17, 1969, Died December 23, 2023

   Tonya went to be with The Lord on December 23, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer.  She was the most caring and giving human being that anyone would want to know.  Tonya was the caregiver to her mother, nephews/niece, and great-nephews.  Tonya loved to read and work in the yard.  She was a huge Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson fan.

   Tonya is survived by her mother Myrtle “Sarah” Bowling, Mother figure to Martin “Tyler” Bowling and Matthew Bowling, and Tasha Verma, grandmother figure and best friend to Braxton Politinsky, Aryan Verma, and special great nephews Carlos and Aron Balderrama.

   Brothers Billy Bowling (Jane), and Larry Bowling (Kim), sisters Penny Burchnell, Nickie Hayes (Wes), and Judith Bowling.  Special niece Ashley Balderrama and several nieces, and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her grandmother Lula Bright, Grandfather James Edward Bright, and special Nephew Larry Joe Bowling Jr.  A thank you to Dr. Siddiqui of the Muncie Cancer Center of Ball Memorial Hospital.

    A Celebration of life service will be held at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church located at 3001

Burlington Ave., Muncie, IN 47302 on Saturday, January 6th, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Clayton Bates

    Friends may call at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 11:00

A.M. until 1:00 P.M.
