Funeral services for Vanetta Diane Brown, known as “Momma V” will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center, 801 West Adams Street Muncie, Indiana. Officiating will be Bro. Denny Helton. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park, Muncie, Indiana, under the direction of Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 30 years Jeff Brown, they were married on Friday, July 23, 1993 and have three wonderful children together, Kyra Brown, Markest Brown, Nate Brown, brother, Mike Schoeff, sister, Shawn Workman, sister, Denise Willson, sister, Amber Webb, sister, Stacy Schoeff, brother Kevin Schoeff, mother- in -law, Vora Brown, step mom, Cindy Schoeff, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Vanetta was born Friday, April 9, 1965 in Muncie Indiana, and passed away from this life Thursday, March 25, 2021 to go home to be with her Lord and Savior.
She is preceded in death by her father, Carl Eugene Schoeff, mother, Phyllis Kay Hammond Schoeff Woodring, and father-in -law James Elber Brown.
Momma V as everyone knew her by, worked at Cheers Bar and Grill for 11 wonderful years, she loved to cook she was known in the city of Muncie, Indiana for her cooking. Cooking was her specialty, seeing people eat the food she prepared and seeing them with a smile on their face told it all! She loved her family very much and loved her husband and children they were very important to her, she loved to make Christmas wreaths every year and make different crafts was also one of her hobbies she enjoyed doing when she had the time, setting by the pool and and enjoying the sunshine was one of favorite things to do also listing to her music while laying out around the pool, she will be deeply missed and along with her cooking.
Pallbearers will be Kyra Brown, Markest Brown, Nate Brown, Deandre Long, Daiveon Goodwin, and Antonio Brown.
Memorials may be made to the family to offset the funeral expenses.
