Veda (Cook) Gregg

Veda Gregg, 83, passed away Tuesday February 18, 2020 at her residence following a brief illness.  She was born on March 13, 1936 in Muncie the daughter of Russell Ray “Pete” and Elizabeth (Walling) Cook, Sr.

Veda attended Muncie Community Schools and later married Otto Gregg who preceded her in death in 1990.  Mrs. Gregg became a homemaker and loved to do crochet work and baking.

Survivors include 2 sons, Robert Shepherd, Muncie and Russell Shepherd (Angela), Albany; 5 grandchildren, Cory, Shane, Stephanie, Phillip and Crystal; 1 great grandchild; 2 sisters, Patty Welch and Josephine “Jo” Kennedy, both of Muncie; 2 brothers, Max Cook and Russell Ray Cook, Jr., both of Muncie; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Otto, she is preceded in death by 1 grandson, Joey Gregg; her parents; grandparents; step son, Earl Phillip Gregg.

Cremation is being done with private family memorial at a later date.  Parson Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
