Vesna (Ninic) Winn

Vesna Winn, the loving, devoted wife of Scotty Winn went to be with the Lord of glory Jesus Christ peacefully early Monday morning on September 27, 2021.

She was born on February 18, 1966 to Vidoje and Ivanka Ninic in Loznica, Yugoslavia. Vesna was a model for a brief time before graduating from Belgrade University School of Law in 1993. She began working for the Organization for Security and Cooperation Europe in 1997 as an interpreter and a year later moved up in the organization. She quickly became a field office head in the town of Zovornik, Bosnia, where she met her husband. They married and moved to Muncie, IN where she
devoted her life to him since 2005.

Vesna had many interesting life stories but would tell you it is all vanity unless you trust in Jesus Christ and his finished work on the cross for your sin and salvation. She truly loved her large family in the United States.

She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Scotty, her brother Aleksandar Ninic, her father and mother-in-law Charles and Marjorie Winn, brother-in-laws Norman(Yolanda) Moore, Charles(Bonnie) Winn, sister-in-laws Karen(Tony) Bales, Judy ( Brad) Pippin, Sally ( Patrick) Cowger, nieces Angie(David) Bollinger, Meagan(Dale) Winser, Kristen(Charlie) Strickhouser, Molly Winn, Kate Cowger, Phoebe Cowger, Maeve Cowger, nephews Joshua (Cassondra) Winn, Michael( Olivia) Winn, Tyler Bales, Travis Bales, Gus Pippin, Gabe Pippin and six grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center on Saturday October 2, 2021 at 11:00 am with Pastor Jeremey Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at Parson from 9:00 am until the start of the service.
