Viola June (Walker) Crawford

Muncie: V. June Crawford passed away Monday morning May 4, 2020 at Waters Edge Village. June was born to Olive (Stewart) and Clarence Walker on Thursday May17, 1928 in Muncie Indiana. Growing up in this area she graduated from Muncie Central High in 1946 and later from Ball State Teachers College. She went on to teach Children with learning disabilities at Cowan Community Schools and own her own hair salon business. June was a member of High Street United Methodist Church and the Rebecca Lodge in Anderson.

Surviving June are son, Ronald Crawford; daughter Deborah Crawford; grandchildren, Brian (Carrie) Long, Stefanie Crawford, Sara Eckstine and great-grandchild Hunter Long.

As June requested cremation will take place and she will be buried with her husband.

Because of the current restrictions on social gatherings, the family will have a memorial service at a later date.
