William Joseph Buckingham

William (Bill) Buckingham, passed away June 30, 2020. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who dedicated much of his life to the church and youth services.  He was born November 3, 1956 to the late Willard and Kathryn Buckingham. He was a long time employee of Hatfield Quality Meats in Hatfield, PA.  When his children were young, he was a youth minister and track, softball and basketball coach.  Later in life, he was an ordained Christian International pastor.  Bill enjoyed family, church, sports, movies and music.

Bill graduated from Souderton High School in Souderton, Pennsylvania, and attended Ursinus College and Ball State University.

He is survived by wife Linda Buckingham of Muncie, IN, daughters Geneen Buckingham Tobey (Mike) of Huntsville, AL and Jennifer Buckingham Yeager of Indianapolis, IN, four grandchildren Alison (Ali) Tobey, Matthew (Matt) Tobey, Eva Yeager and Jana Yeager, and four brothers, Gerald, Bryan, Louis and Irvin (Tommy).  Bill is also lovingly survived by four step-daughters Sarah Phillips (Brian), Angela Dagen (Adam), Rose Grotzinger, Joy Grotzinger, and a step-son Israel (Izzy) Grotzinger, and six step-granddaughters Rachel Phillips, Liya Grotzinger, Madelynn Bower, Julia Iserloth, Jessica Islerloth, and Isabella (Bella) Dagen.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Kathryn Buckingham and daughter Tabitha Buckingham.

At this time, the family has chosen to honor William's wishes for cremation. There will be a memorial service held at a later time due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
