William Eldon McClellan

William Eldon McClellan "Billy Mac", 69, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on November 8, 2025. He was born on July 11, 1956, in New Castle, Indiana, to D. Riley and Janel (Rockhill) McClellan.

William was an avid golfer and bowler, achieving a perfect 300 game and an 800 series. He also celebrated a hole-in-one at his favorite course, Maplewood, a memory he cherished deeply. Throughout his life, he had a great love for animals, especially his beloved fur babies, who will miss him dearly. William enjoyed spending time with family and friends, always finding joy in their company.

He is survived by his devoted wife of more than 50 years, Cathy; his brother, Santford McClellan (Sandra); his sister, Darlene McNew (Harold); his sister-in-law, Brenda Summerland; nephews Hank McClellan (Jill) and Josh McClellan; niece Jessica White (Charlie); and several extended family members.

William was preceded in death by his parents, D. Riley and Janel McClellan; his brother, D. Riley McClellan; his niece, Sunshine Pierce; his brother-in-law, Phil "Gumby" Unruh; and his grandparents, Eldon and Fern Rockhill.

A celebration of William’s life will be held in the Spring, details to be announced.
