William “Bill” Meadows, 78, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025. Born on December 16, 1946, he was the beloved son of the late Betty Smith and William Jackson Meadows.

Bill worked for many years at GMC and BorgWarner, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. He took great pride in providing for his family and was a source of steady support and quiet strength.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Denise Thompson Meadows; his daughter Tammie Lampton (Brian Parsons); his son Bryan Meadows (Mindy Monks); and three cherished granddaughters, Kaysi Lampton (Caleb Bailey), Vanessa Meadows, and Emilee Meadows. He also leaves behind his sister, Joy Dutrow, along with several nieces and nephews.

Bill loved his family deeply and found joy in the simple things in life. He enjoyed working in the yard, reading, and woodworking. Music was a favorite pastime—especially the oldies—and he often playfully quizzed Denise to see if she could name the artist. He had a soft spot for classic cars, animal shows, and never missed an episode of Blue Bloods.

A humble and kind-hearted man, he lived his life with quiet dignity. His gentle spirit, sense of humor, and deep love for his family will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.
