The Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center is the most up to date and technologically advanced crematory in the area. In addition to our mortuary, our crematory offers a stand alone chapel for families to hold a ceremony to honor their loved ones with the respect and dignity they deserve. We offer a wide range of Cremation options as well as a complete line of Cremation Urns and Cremation Vaults.
Our Traditional Package with Cremation*
- Basic Services of Funeral Director, Staff and Overhead
- Removal from place of death in Delaware County
- Embalming and other preparation of the body
- Dressing, cosmetizing, and casketing of the body
- One hour private family viewing
- One to four hours public viewing
- One day prior to the service
Automotive equipment includes:
- Removal car
- Service car
Funeral service may be at the mortuary or other facility.
Our Traditional Same Day Package with Cremation*
- Basic Services of Funeral Director, Staff and Overhead
- Removal from place of death in Delaware County

Cremation with a Memorial Service, without a Viewing
This option allows families to pay tribute to their loved one without the body being present. This will be held in one of our full service mortuary chapels.

- Memorial Service
- Cremation container may be provided by the mortuary or the purchaser

- Removal car

Memorial Service may be at the mortuary or other facility.
Cremation with a Public Gathering (with or without cremated remains present)
- Basic services of funeral director, staff and overhead
- Removal from place of death in Delaware County
- Cremation container may be provided by the mortuary or the purchaser
- Up to one and one half hours of gathering time in our Crematory Chapel.

- Removal car
- Service car

Direct Cremation
- Basic Services of Funeral Director, Staff and Overhead
- Removal from place of death in Delaware County
- Cremation container provided by the mortuary or the purchaser.
- A temporary urn.
- There is no memorial services, gatherings or viewings with this option.

Every cremation is done by one of our Certified Crematory Operators, under the supervision of our Crematory Director. We treat your loved one like they are our own family. This is our promise to you.
Unlike some other funeral homes in our area, we have our own stand-alone crematory with a chapel for your use. At Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center, your loved one never leaves our care.
