Audrey A (Watts) Reed

Audrey A. Reed, 72, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Ottawa Kansas on August 18, 1946 to Elizabeth and Clayton Watts.

Audrey was a cosmetologist, for many years she worked at Rex’s Barber Shop in Ottawa Kansas. She recently moved to Indiana for her daughter to help care for her during her illness. Audrey was a warrior and fought a good fight. She was truly remarkable in her love of life and her courageous fight with this horrible disease. She was an inspiration to many and forever will be missed and remembered but most importantly loved.

She loved being outside, mowing, spending time with her grand animals, tinkering on small equipment and just enjoying the great outdoors. She enjoyed going to hardware stores and looking at tractors and farm equipment. Audrey loved her family, her grand animals, having new adventures and beautiful sunny days.

Audrey is survived by her daughter: Robin Flager (Ted Lorts), a brother and a sister.

Audrey is preceded in death by her parents and a half-brother Donnie.

A private memorial will be held in Indiana at a later date.
