Edith M. Fields

Edith Mae Fields         1938-2018

Edith Mae Fields, 80, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October, 02, 2018.

Born September 25, 1938, in Moorehead Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Clell and Sadie Swim.  Edith graduated from Dunkirk High School, Dunkirk Indiana in 1957.

On January 19th, 1958, she married Keith R. Fields. 

Edith worked at the Indiana Glass Company in Dunkirk, Indiana for many years and in 1979 moved to Phoenix Arizona with her family where she loved to explore the southwest.   In 1992 Edith returned to Dunkirk, Indiana, to assist her sister Margie in taking care of her mother Sadie Swim.

Edith enjoyed traveling, country music, reading, court TV, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Jacqueline Fields, and her wife Lori of Orlando, Florida, two sons Michael Fields and Wayne Fields both of Muncie, Indiana; one sister Margie Fields of Fortville, Indiana and one brother Emmett Swim of Naperville, Illinois.

Edith is preceded in death by her husband Keith R Fields (2001), her parents, two sisters, and two brothers.

Per Edith’s wishes cremation will take place and no services will be held.

Place of rest will be Dunkirk Cemetery, Dunkirk, Indiana.
