Edwin "ED" Winter Jones

Edwin “Ed” Winter Jones 72, passed away on Thursday May 10, 2018 at the V.A.  Hospital-Indianapolis, with his family by his. Edwin was born on December 8, 1945 to Ernest and Ruth Jones in Connersville Indiana.

Ed entered the United States Marine Corp in 1966 After leaving the service Ed came home to marry the love of his life Judy Jones(Boguske) in 1967.

Ed enjoyed his family and working on cars. He was the go to handy man in the neighborhood.

Edwin is survived by his wife of 51 years, 3 sons; Randall E. Jones, Mathew Spinger, Richard McConnon, 3 daughters; Karen E.  Rodrick (John), Abigail A Jones, Samantha Umina, two brothers Francis “Bud” Jones, Gene Jones, 3 sisters Mary Threet, Barbra Bunch, Helen Purcell, a grandson Cody Rodrick, a few special friends; Jack McCoy, Danelle and Bailee and his dog Thumper and Sheba.

Edwin is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Norma Jones and Jerry Jones, a sister Alberta Prifogle, 4 dogs; Marybeth, Wolfie, Roscoe and D.O.G.

A funeral service for Edwin will be held on Wednesday May 16, 2018 at 1:00PM at Forest Park Church of the Nazarene, 2105 West Memorial Drive Muncie Indiana. Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery with Military Honors. Friends may call on Tuesday May 15, 2018 from 4-8 Pm at Parson Mortuary online condolences may be made at www.parsonmortuary.com
