Glenna F. (Piercy) Mace

Muncie-Glenna F. Mace, 73, passed away late Saturday evening, May 5, 2018, following a brief illness.  She was born on January 15, 1945 in Harriman, Tennessee, the daughter of Willie and Norma (Bowlin) Piercy.  She had attended Muncie City Schools and later married the love of her life Clifton Mace in 1975 and he preceded her in death in 2006.

Mrs. Mace had worked for the Chateau Health Care Center in the Dietary Department for 12 years prior to her retirement in the 1990’s.  She enjoyed sports of all kinds but, mostly she treasured the time she could spend with her grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter D. Jill Ryans (fiancé-Hank McClellan), Muncie; three grandchildren, Farrah Ryans, Rose Ryans and Dyllen McClellan, all of Muncie; two sisters, Janice Morris (husband-Jimmie), Muncie and Patricia Summitt, Manchester, Tennessee; two brothers, William Piercy and James Piercy, both of Muncie; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband of 31 years, Clifton, she is preceded in death by her parents; her mother and father-in-law, Madonna and Brooks Mace; twin brothers, Billie and Bobbie Piercy;  one sister, Anita Morris.

Private family burial will take place at the Elm Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery.
