MUNCIE - Judy A. Rivers, 76, passed away late Wednesday evening, December 25, 2019 following an extended illness. She was born on May 20, 1943 in Muncie the daughter of Ted and Cora ( ) Perkins. Judy is a 1961 graduate of Royerton High School and later became a Surgical Scrub Technician. Most recently, she had been doing Home Health Care for various people through out the Muncie and Delaware County area. Her special interest included painting pictures with oil-based paints that rivaled professionally painted works and she also enjoyed dancing whenever she could. Survivors include two sons, Scott Walker (Ruby), Dunkirk and Brian Walker (Kathy Daniels). Muncie; two grandsons, Chris Walker and Derek Walker (Meghan Huffman), Yorktown. She is preceded in death by her parents; her biological mother, Anna Irene King; one sister, Betty Weeks; still born twin granddaughters, Mackenzie Rose and Summer Lynn. Cremation is being done. A private gathering of family will take place at a later date. Parson Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to charity of the donors choice.
