Christopher Allen Parsons

Christopher Allen Parsons, age 37, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on September 26, 1985, the son of Bobby Jr and Marie (Whitcomb) Parsons. Christopher graduated from Muncie Central High School.

Christopher married the love of his life Debra (Denis) on September 27, 2018.  After graduating from Muncie Central High School, he continued his love and passion for automotive restoration by laying out some of the most memorable paint jobs in the hotrod world. He also worked as a painter at Dadsons Automotive before joining the UAW local #2209 family at General Motors truck plant in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Chris enjoyed driving and working on his show truck, painting cars, building engines, or just tinkering in his garage. He took pride in mowing his own lawn and helping his wife make their house a home. He also loved spending time with his family and close friends, especially barbequing on his grill for them, and sitting around the bonfire reminiscing about the good times.

Christopher is survived by his wife Debra, stepchildren Angel and Ricky, parents Bobby Jr and Marie Parsons, brothers Brad Hicks (wife Carri), Bobby Parsons III(Brandi), Adam Wright (Amber), Keith Wood (wife Whitney). nieces and nephews, Payton Lucas (husband Lane), Brooklyn Hicks, (Cameron), Chandler Hicks, Ethen Parsons (mother Kellie Wynn), Jamie Daley, and Anyiah Wright.  In addition, he leaves behind beloved pets Harley and Rocky, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Also, a special thank you to Arlie Parsons, Brian Parsons, Gary Hughes, Nicole Hughes, Kay Hoskins, and Chris Phillips.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ethel and Terry Swartout and Walter Whitcomb. Paternal grandparents Bobby Sr and Imogene Parsons.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams, Muncie, Indiana.  Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory, north of Muncie.
