Jacqueline Joan (Watters) Findley

Jacqueline Joan (Watters) Findley ,78, began her journey to Heaven and is in the hands of The Lord and will be met by family members and friends in Heaven.  She passed away peacefully on September 12, 2021 at the Parker Health & Rehabilitation Center.  She was born in Muncie, IN on July4, 1943 to Homer C and Ruth E (Balle/Forrester) Watters.  A fond memory was her mother called her Jackie Ann and her father called her Jackie Jo.

Jackie attended Royerton High School from 1st grade to 12th grade and graduated in May 1961.  She attended Indiana Business School after graduation and started her work career at Westinghouse Transformer Division, Muncie in 1962.

Her husband (Mike) was offered a transfer with Muncie Power Products to Toronto, Ontario, Canada to open a division for the company.  Jackie quit her job at Westinghouse in 1973 (after 11 years of employment) to go to Canada with Mike.

She was employed at Muncie Canada LTD. in Mississauga (Ontario) from 1973-1977.  When they returned to Muncie, IN in 1977, she started working at Muncie Power Products and retired from there on March 31, 2001.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Belonged to Phi Beta Psi Sorority (Theta Psi Chapter) for over 43 years (joined 1979), While in Tucson, AZ she attended Sigma Kappa Chapter.  She enjoyed making quilts for Project Linus, Tuscon, AZ and crocheting lap robes for the VA hospital in Tucson, AZ.

She was a Life member of Phi Beta Psi Sorority and the NRA and attended as many conventions for both as she could.  She was an associate member of TSRA Car Club in Tuscon, AZ.

Survivors include husband Mike.  They were married October 28, 1962.  Also, her sister-in-law, Jolene Watters, Muncie; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews to include, Lee Ann Watters- Frantz (Ronnie), Brenda Kay Watters-Hawkins (Danny), Ashley Kay Watters (Dustin Minnick), Isaiah & Amiyah Minnick, Aaron Watters, Crystal Watters, Ella Ruth Ann Cassell and Jeff Harry (Michele).

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Dewaine and Charles and nephew, David Watters, step-sister, Doris Shafer and step-brother, Dwight Forrester, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Gordon Jackson officiating.  Burial will follow at the Eaton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at Parson Mortuary on Thursday evening, September 16, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.  and again, on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. until time of service.
