Kathryn (Doss) Tilley

Kathryn Tilley, 82, went to her heavenly home on Sunday morning, November 14, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness.  She was born on August 30, 1939 in Muncie, the daughter of Benjamin Floyd and Ruby (Newton) Doss.
Kathryn had married the love of her life Allen Tilley on June 13, 1958 and he preceded her in death on August 30, 2014.  Mrs. Tilley had worked for Anchor Hocking in Winchester for 32 years in the quality control department prior to her retirement in 2000.  She was a member of the Full Gospel Temple where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and with various other programs involving children.  Mrs. Tilley also was a member of the United Glass Workers Union, enjoyed knitting and growing flowers in her garden.  She especially treasured the times she could spend with her family the most.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Rouch, Parker City and Luttica (Tish) Williams (David), Woodbury, Tennessee; two sons, Ben Tilley (Kathy Jones), Selma and Sammy Tilley (Mary), Portland; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great, great, grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Thomas, Muncie and Carolyn McClellan, Upland; one brother, Donald Doss (Georgia), Muncie; several nieces and nephews. 
Besides her husband of 51 years, Allen she was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Caity Tilley in 2015; three brothers, Gene, Jack and Jim Doss; one sister, Pricilla Oliphant.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, 2:00 P.M. at the Full Gospel Temple 212 W. 7th St. Muncie, IN 47302, with Pastor Denny Helton officiating.  Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie.
Friends may call at the Full Gospel Temple on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. until time of service.
