Kenneth A. Jones, Jr.

Kenneth A. Jones, Jr., 62, graduated to his heavenly home, Saturday evening, May 1, 2021, at the Albany Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.  He was born on November 22, 1958 in Muncie the son of Kenneth and Ethel (Moore) Jones, Sr.

Kenneth is a 1977 graduate of Southside High School and later married the love of his life, Linda (Randolph) Jones on 08/18/2007 and she survives.  Mr. Jones worked for Pepsi Cola Bottling as a Merchandiser for 26 years prior to his disability in 2014.  Mr. Jones had attended Liberty Baptist Church of Cowan and was a member of the Pepsi Cola Bottlers Union, enjoyed fishing following High School and College basketball and going to revivals and church conferences.  He cherished the times he was able to spend with his children, grandchildren and his great grandchild.

Besides his wife of 13 years, Linda, he is survived by three daughters, Lori Stephenson (Ron), Lafayette, Melinda Piercy (Aaron), Selma and Autumn Gregory, Muncie; one son, Jackie Hyso (Debbie), Jacksonville, Florida; six grandchildren, Tyler Stephenson, Courtney Stephenson, Andrew Noel (Jaycee), Samuel Piercy, Nathaniel Leitheim and Cherrish Leitheim; one great grandchild, Kaeldis Kallenberger; special cousin, Ronnie Piercy (Anita), Muncie.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Andrea E. Jones.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 8, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at Liberty Baptist Church with Pastor Andrew Phipps, Jr., officiating.  Burial will follow at the Elm Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery.
