Indianapolis: on Monday, January 11 2021, Lou Evan Carraway passed away at the age of 62 at University Hospital Indianapolis, IN, due to complications from surgery. Lou was born on Saturday, January 10, 1959, to Joe Neal and Mary Jean Carraway. A graduate of Wapahani High school in 1977, she also attended Ball State University. She Modeled for UCBC and GMC. Her passion for music (especially in the ‘70s) and knowing every lyric to every song was amazing. She was so incredibly smart (except in Math) with a memory for times, dates and details. She was known for her quick wit, uplifting spirit and her hilariously vulgar mouth.
Lou is survived by siblings Rich and Aonda (Sharp) Carraway and Julie (Carraway) and Glenn “Bud” Craft and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, etc.
Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mary Jean Carraway, and beloved niece, Lauren (Hamilton) Deeds.
Due to COVID-19 complications, a formal service will not be held at this time. Lou will be laid to rest at Strong Cemetery in Albany, IN., next to her parents.
