Peggy Eileen (Long) Wilson

Peggy E. Wilson, 77, went to her heavenly home into the waiting arms of Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.  She was born on August 27, 1944 in Muncie, the daughter of Arthur and Brucelle (Finley) Long.

Peggy graduated from Eaton High School in 1962 and graduated from the Indiana Business College and later married the love of her life, Richard Wilson on April 5, 1969 in Muncie and he survives.  Mrs. Wilson worked for a short time for Mutual Federal Savings Bank prior to her becoming a homemaker.  She had attended both the New Day Baptist Church and the Victory Temple several years ago.  She was known to be an excellent seamstress and a devout prayer warrior.

Besides her husband of 52 years, Richard, she is survived by one son, Bradley Wilson (Christina), Indianapolis; her mother, Brucelle Long, Muncie; two sisters, Sandra Brobst (Donald) and Linda Long, both of Muncie; several nieces and nephews.

Due to covid restrictions, a private family Gathering will be held at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Denny Helton officiating.  Burial will follow at a later date.

Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.
