Sonja Renee (King) Scott

Funeral services celebrating the life of Sonja Renee King Scott will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 at 6:00 pm at Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center 801 West Adams Street Muncie, Indiana, Officiating will be Bro. Dennis Trimble, under the direction of Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center, Muncie, Indiana.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 from 4:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.

Those left to cherish her memories include, son, Peyton Rothhaar, daughter, Jade Dawson, son, Eli Dawson, mother, Mary Cook Beaty, father, Tollie King, best friend, Randi Thomas, favorite aunt, Patsy Cook, two step sisters, Teresa Matchett, Marsha Pennington, along with numerous relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her son Zachary Van-Cleave, and one brother, Steven King.

Sonja loved her family dearly specially her children, they were her world, she was a nurse for many years and loved helping people, she loved the beach in Florida and loved the warm breeze off of the ocean and laying out on the beach was relaxing to her, listing to country music and watching football was also one of her favorite things to do, she was an outgoing person and did not know a stranger.

Memorials may be made to the family in offset of the funeral expenses.
