Condolence to the Family of David Scott,
There are few experiences more difficult than losing a loved one in death; no doubt Mr. Scott will be sadly missed. I find comfort in knowing death was not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed.
God’s word is clear, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8). It is comforting to know that the grief and sorrow we experience is temporary because the restoration of life is guaranteed! (Revelation 21:4)
Jesus not only spoke of the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), he himself was resurrected by his Father and performed many miracles. All such miraculous events, including resurrections, took place on earth giving us a precious glimpse of what is to come.......seeing our loved ones again! (Acts 24:15)
As you cherish the many fond memories of Mr. Scott, may Jehovah God continue to bless your family during this difficult time and in the days ahead.
