Muncie-Donna Jene (Buck, Barton) Miller, 58, passed away Monday afternoon following an extended illness. She was born on July 22, 1957, in Muncie, the daughter of, Donvil and Emojene (Ward) Buck.
Donna is a 1975 graduate of Wapahani High School and later attended Ball State University where she received an Associate of Science Degree. Donna married Bob Miller on February 4, 2007 in Portland and he survives. Mrs. Miller had worked for Ball State University both as a Custodian and later in the mail room for 29 years prior to her retirement in 2008. She was a member of the Indiana Mounted Regulators, the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association and attended the Hickory Grove Church of the Brethren. Donna enjoyed family times especially with her grandchildren, and enjoyed anything to do with horses.
Besides her husband of 10 years, Bob, she is survived by three sons, Robert Chad Barton, Muncie, Travis Eugene Barton (wife-Sara), Hartford City and Bobby Joh Miller, Pennville; three granddaughters, Jennifer Barton, Parker City, Ciara Barton, Muncie and Charity Barton, Huntington; one great granddaughter, Vaeda Jean Barton, Parker City; one sister, Jeneie Woody (husband-Steve), Selma; one brother, Benjamin Buck (wife-Patricia), Melbourne, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Barton and her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016, 3:00 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Earl Doll officiating. Cremation is to follow.
Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Saturday, February 13, 2016, from 1:00 P.M. until service time.
