JUDITH  ANN  (SPRINKLE) HUMBERT

   Judith Ann (Sprinkle) Humbert, 70, of Muncie, Indiana passed away on October 26, 2016 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. She had fought a courageous battle with cancer for 11 months 13 days.

   She graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1964. She loved life and enjoyed doing anything that involved her husband, children and granddaughters, from cheering on her husband and sons at horse-pulls, to watching her granddaughters play basketball and volleyball. She loved gathering in her kitchen or on the porch, drinking coffee and talking with family. She fed people any hour of the day, from Canada to Kentucky and Wisconsin to Maine. Her world was her family and friends. Her legend will be carried on by her children and granddaughters. She was full of spunk and had the most beautiful smile. Her family will live on with many wonderful memories that they shared.

   Judy leaves to cherish her husband of 52 years, Tommie Humbert Sr., whom she met on a blind date, was engaged within two weeks, and married six months later in 1964. Son, Tommie Humbert Jr; daughter, Tambrea Humbert-Reeder and her husband, Todd; son, Timothy Humbert; five granddaughters, Margee Reeder, Brea Reeder, Delci Reeder, Lexi Humbert, and Mckensie Dishman, all of Muncie, Indiana; siblings, Betty Coleman of Owensville; Wanda Marvel and her husband, Tom of Owensville; Johnny Sprinkle and his wife, Lois of Ft. Branch; Norma Epperhart of Muncie; brothers-in-law, John Humbert and his wife, Nancy of Selma; Charles Fruitt of Muncie; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Humbert of Bedford; Dot Humbert of Yorktown; many nieces, nephews, friends, and her faithful dog, Sassy (her favorite daughter).

   She was preceded in death by her birth parents, Dorothy and Estel Sprinkle; mom and dad, Ethel and Harrison Sprinkle; brother, Jerry Sprinkle and his wife, Glenda; brother, Johnny Sprinkle; mother and father-in-law, Delmar and Margaret Humbert; brothers-in-law, Donald Humbert, Jake Humbert, and Floyd Patterson; sisters-in-law, Bessie Humbert, Bonnie Patterson, and Barbara Fruitt.

   Visitation will be Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 2 P.M. until 6 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary and from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Monday.

   Services will be Monday, October 31, 2016 at 10 A.M. at the mortuary with Rev. Joe Hines officiating. Burial will be at Tomlinson Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana.
