So sorry for your loss, Carolyn. He lived a long and happy life, thanks largely to you. May he sing in heaven!

An English and French student of Carolyn's, I saw Mr. Jones often, as he always accompanied her on YHS French Club outings and activities.
I was aware of his work with The Muncie Public Library and his involvement with Masterworks Chorale, later attending their performance of Handel's The Messiah in the early '90s.
What comes immediately to my mind is the gentle, amused, twinkling smile of his eyes. And of course, his own smile.
God blessed and enriched the Muncie community greatly through the efforts, stewardship, and voice of Mr. Leon I. Jones.

Dear Karen and family:
I am so sorry to hear of Leon's passing. I will miss seeing you at the memorial (I will be out of the country). You are in my thoughts. I must say the photo of Leon is wonderful -- great, warm smile!
Love,
Melodie
