Muncie – Michael L. Burke, 59, Muncie, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016.
He was born March 1, 1957 in Muncie, Indiana the son of the late Roy Burke and Alta (Slaven) Burke who survives. Michael grew up in Muncie and was a graduate of Muncie Southside High School. He was employed as a tool & die maker for Mursix Corporation in Yorktown, Indiana. Michael enjoyed being outdoors fishing, hunting, and boating. He also loved going to flea markets and buying and selling guns.
Survivors include his mother, Alta Burke; his wife, Sandra (Spence) Burke; one daughter, Helen Leach, (husband-Paul); two sons, Cody Burke; and Chris Buck, (wife-April); six grandchildren, Zane, Zoe, Eli, Lilly, Gabrielle, and Aubrey; sister, Darlene Wolfe, (husband-Steve); and a brother, Greg Burke.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Burke.
Services will be held at Parson Mortuary at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016.
Calling will be at Parson Mortuary on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Saturday.
Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery, Muncie.
