Jerry was born and raised in Muncie, graduating from Burris High School, Mid-America College of Funeral Services, and Ball State University.

Jerry is a member and deacon of his church, St. Andrew Presbyterian of Muncie. He has been married to his wife, Megan, for over thirty years and they have three children and two grandchildren.

As a first-generation funeral director, I bring heart, dedication, and deep respect for every story entrusted to my care. I'm passionate about serving my community with compassion and grace, guiding families through life's most tender moments. Outside of work, I find peace in the outdoors, joy in anime, and fulfillment in spending time with my family. My mission is to honor each life with dignity and help their legacy live on for generations.

The staff of Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center are deeply saddened to annouce that our Owner, President, and dear friend, E. Kenneth "Ken" Parson passed away on June 25, 2024, at the age of 84.

Mr. Parson was dedicated to serving the families of our community and we will continue to honor his name.
